Ever since coronavirus pandemic hit the world the cricketing activities across the world came to grinding halt. So in essence watching England and West Indies Series was a pleasant sight. kudos to England cricket board for organizing the series and giving a glimmer of hope to all cricket fans. Now let’s focus on what made this test series so special.
Overall this was a balanced test series where balance kept shifting between two teams throughout the series. Apart from the last innings of third test where West Indies surrendered meakly both team played some good quality cricket. Eventually England came out in top with a 2-1 series win.
It was quite a surreal experience to see cricket match being played in a entirely empty stadium almost for the first time. The sight was quite eventful and reminder of how cricket will be played atleast for a couple of year in the near future. Cricket lovers should brace themselves for this new reality for quite sometime in near future.
